FLORIN FINANCE ADVISES DALSEM IN THE SALE TO COFRA HOLDING
COFRA Holding, the investment vehicle of the Brenninkmeijer family, will acquire 100% of the shareholdings in Dalsem, a leading developer of high-tech greenhouses worldwide. Managing Director Jan Pieter Dalsem will remain in his position in order to work closely with COFRA to further strengthen the business in the coming years.
Dalsem, a third-generation family business founded in 1932, has developed itself into a global leader in the horticultural sector. The acquisition of Dalsem is part of COFRA’s diversification strategy, focused on tackling the biggest social and environmental challenges facing the world through among others investments in sustainable food systems. Together with COFRA, Dalsem will continue its growth in attractive regions such as the US and Europe.
COFRA Holding consists of independently operating businesses in various business sectors, including retail (C&A), real estate (Redevco), renewable energy (Sunrock), private equity (Bregal), and asset management (Anthos Fund & Asset Management). COFRA is headquartered in Zug, Switzerland and has operations in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
